What is Ouroborborygmus?

Say it with me now.

Ou-ro

bor-bor

yg-mus

Ouroborborygmus is a portmanteau of two words.

The first is Ouroboros: a ravenous allegorical serpent, perpetually devouring its own tail.

The second is borborygmus: the technical term for the charmingly audible rumbling of the tummy.

Also, it’s the title if a book I wrote.

I highly recommend you read it, btw.

“Okay, but like… what genre is it?”

Well, Mujo Morell (our charismatic protagonist) seems to believe he’s in a detective noir.

He’s wrong, of course.

Ouroborborygmus is a magical realism adventure.

Though from Mujo’s point of view, the phrase “magical realism” is redundant,

and whenever Mujo’s involved

the adventure is already implied.

“LazyPretty, you’ve explained nothing.”

That is correct.

If you truly wish to understand the Ouroborborygmus,

then you’re going to have to read the book.

I am currently in the process of releasing it as a web serial.

New sections will be available every week, released on Tuesday.

(Or as close to Tuesday as I can manage)

(I was originally going to release the new sections on Monday.

but Cololina's got some weird laws on the books regardin' Mondays.)
